Pre appointment considerations

Is BONDED for you?

Is this service suitable for you?

Before you proceed with booking an appointment, consider your lifestyle - how active you are, and decide if this is the right jewellery for you.

If you are constantly engaged in a contact sport for example, a permanent jewellery might not be suitable for you. You might wish to opt for clasp options.

Pick a chain design and material that suits your daily vibe, and your lifestyle.

BONDED AFTERCARE

You're all BONDED up, what now?

About your BONDED Jewellery
Our chains are made from either plated sterling silver or 14k Solid Gold. See below for how to care for them.

Jewellery Care

Your BONDED jewellery may be welded on permanently, but they are also dainty jewellery that requires care. Here is a guide:

1. Clean with warm water and soap, gently rub with a soft cloth
2. Polish off oxidisation with a microfibre cloth (your resident spectacles cloth works)
3. Store in a cool, dry place or a jewellery box
4. Avoid abrasive chemicals (such as perfume, chlorine)
5. When engaging in vigorous activities, we recommend a protective article to protect them (such as wrapping down with boxing tape)

Warranty
Gold Vermeil - 1 Month Warranty from date of purchase
Solid Gold - 6 Months Warranty from date of purchase

Does not cover loss of chain or charm, external damages caused by force, changes in appearance, kinks, or gradual degradation due to wear and tear. We cover welding errors, and mishaps within the warranty.

Outside of warranty, we still offer repair work at a small fee outside of its warranty. Send us an image so we can assess the damage and advice accordingly. Broken pieces are fixable, however we do not replace, reimburse, or refund lost chains.

Jewellery Ageing
Jewellery ages with you, and we'd love to guide you through with letting it age gracefully.

Over an amount of time (6 months - 2 years), yellow gold vermeil jewellery tends to start fading as it loses its plating and lighten out.

Chains can also stretch out over time especially Sterling Silver pieces, as silver is a softer metal than Solid Gold.

Depending on your lifestyle, your jewellery will react differently.
Everyone is different and many factors affect the way your jewellery ages.

People with higher body acidites, perspire more, or have a certain diet can cause their jewellery to oxidise quicker. A quick fix would be to polish it up with a microfibre cloth.

If your chain needs re-welding, or repair, shorten stretched chains, kindly book an appointment below for our Aftercare Services.
